Description
Portal Space Systems is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to design spacecraft power systems, including solar-array interfaces, battery charge and discharge regulation, power distribution units, grounding, bus-level voltage regulation, load management, protection, and redundancy. The role also covers power-board schematics and PCB layouts, hardware bring-up and testing, fault isolation, environmental and EMI/EMC qualification, and coordination with launch providers. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at least five years of aerospace or high-reliability power-systems experience, and experience with power electronics, ECAD tools, and flight-like hardware testing.
