The role involves preparing hard-bid and negotiated estimates, building conceptual and schematic budgets, tracking design-phase pricing changes, performing takeoffs, managing vendor quotes and bid-day assembly, administering estimating databases and plan-room platforms, and mentoring another estimator. Candidates should have extensive commercial electrical estimating experience, strong proficiency with industry estimating software and tools, and knowledge of electrical codes, bid delivery methods, and commercial project types.
