Description
K2 Space is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and scale manufacturing methods for spacecraft electronic assemblies, including PCBAs, wire harnesses, electromechanical subassemblies, and integrated avionics. The role leads design-for-excellence reviews, prototype and first-article manufacturing, production flows, tooling, MES processes, and quality standards, while partnering with design and mechanical teams and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least six years of high-volume manufacturing or integration experience, and expertise in avionics manufacturing, IPC standards, GD&T, and aerospace quality processes. Compensation is $140,000–$175,000 plus equity, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and parental leave benefits.
