Description
AC Transit is recruiting a Senior Electronic Technician to perform journey-level installation, testing, diagnosis, and repair of electronic systems and equipment in assigned maintenance facilities and in the field. The role covers fare boxes, dispatch and radio communications systems, audio-video equipment, destination signs, diagnostic testing, equipment calibration, printed-circuit-board repair, contractor oversight, records and inventory management, and manufacturer-specification updates. The position requires an associate degree in electronics or equivalent training, at least two years of recent electronics-technician experience, a California Class C driver license, availability for rotating 24-hour on-call duty, and the ability to work on high structures and open towers.
