Description

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc., is looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to develop MANET radios and other advanced R&D projects. The role involves component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware bring-up, focusing on mixed signal circuit design with an emphasis on audio and SoC integration. The position is based in West Los Angeles, CA, requiring a minimum of three days onsite weekly.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Six years of experience in mixed signal circuit design involving audio and SoCs.
Demonstrated expertise with complex mixed signal PCB design and HDI routing.
Experienced with audio codecs and audio power amplifiers.
Experience implementing digital communication peripherals at a hardware level, such as USB 3.0, 10Gb Ethernet, I2C, and RS232.
Experience designing power supply trees to achieve high efficiency and low noise implementations.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
Competency with simulation tools for high speed digital design and power supply design.
Experience with video codecs.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as FCC, CE Mark and MIL-STD-461.
Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Problem-solving, data analysis, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
