Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer in Portsmouth Broad Oak to provide electronic expertise for underwater systems hardware, including legacy product support, technology insertion, design, testing, obsolescence, and sustainment. The role covers analogue, mixed-signal, and power electronics, component selection, schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout, EMC/EMI, regulatory requirements, data interfaces, design for manufacture, and system integration. Candidates need an HND or degree in electronic engineering or equivalent practical experience, electronic CAD and component-level design experience, and complex analogue and mixed-signal design experience; sonar, RF, signal processing, or FPGA/CPLD experience is desirable. The position offers flexible working arrangements and is marked hybrid, with a salary of circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience.
