Axiom Space is hiring a Senior Embedded Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain firmware and flight software for spacecraft and advanced aerospace systems. The role involves embedded platforms, real-time operating systems, bare-metal programming, communication interfaces, hardware bring-up, debugging, software architecture, testing, integration, and pre-flight validation. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline, 4 to 9 years of professional experience in embedded systems, firmware, or flight software, and proficiency in C and C++. The position requires a U.S. government background investigation, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
