Description
Quartermaster is hiring a Senior Embedded Linux / Platform Software Engineer to own the software platform running on NVIDIA Jetson hardware in maritime SmartMast edge devices. The role integrates cameras, radar, SDR, AIS, GPS/GNSS, and thermal sensors; develops ROS2 middleware and edge AI inference pipelines; designs edge-to-cloud data paths; manages OTA updates and fleet rollouts; and debugs production issues. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least four years of embedded software development experience, strong Python, C++, and shell scripting skills, and production experience with embedded Linux, sensor integration, NVIDIA Jetson, and cloud infrastructure.
