ABB is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to join its Process Control Platform team in Västerås, Sweden. The role focuses on developing and maintaining modern C++ embedded software for industrial automation controllers, including real-time operating systems, multithreaded applications, industrial communication protocols, safety-certified and cybersecurity features, and secure boot technologies. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, embedded systems and RTOS experience, software quality practices, and fluency in English and Swedish, with a hybrid work model.
