Intuitive Surgical is hiring an embedded software engineer to develop and verify Linux-based, real-time, high-definition stereo video processing software and intra-body illumination for the da Vinci Surgical System. The role covers embedded software design, camera and image-sensor integration, video processing algorithms, illumination control, hardware/software diagnostics, simulation environments, risk analysis, and product testing. Candidates need a STEM bachelor's or master's degree, at least 8 years of C/C++ embedded software experience, embedded Linux experience, hardware familiarity, and scripting experience; imaging, CUDA, ML, FPGA, technical leadership, and mission-critical software experience are desirable.
