Description
Industrial Scientific is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for firmware development across the new-product-development lifecycle for gas-detection products. The role owns subsystem firmware architecture, requirements traceability, complex drivers and middleware, real-time embedded systems, testing, debugging, performance optimization, development processes, and mentorship. It requires a technical degree and at least eight years of experience developing embedded firmware for real-time, resource-constrained, or safety-critical systems, along with C proficiency and hardware integration experience. The position may also support legacy product enhancements and sustaining projects.
