Description
Knightscope is hiring a Mid/Senior Software Engineer to own the software for a wearable technology product’s check-in/check-out system, from early prototyping through production readiness. The role covers edge-device sensor and RFID/NFC reader integration, APIs, messaging, database design, cloud connectivity, and testing, while collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least seven years of software engineering experience, and knowledge of IoT, RFID, networking, databases, cloud platforms, and access control systems. It is a full-time, on-site role at Knightscope’s Sunnyvale headquarters with a base salary of $150,000–$180,000, stock options, and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
