The role covers chipset bring-up, SDK integration, embedded application and networking feature development, software architecture, hardware integration, debugging, firmware releases, production readiness, certifications, customer issue resolution, and mentorship of junior engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of embedded systems experience, strong C/C++/assembly and Linux/device-driver skills, networking protocol expertise, and experience with version control and continuous integration.
