Intuitive is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in its Future Forward organization to design, develop, and integrate embedded and platform software for a complex robotic surgical system. The role covers OS drivers, hardware interfaces, real-time data pipelines, inter-processor communication, fault-injection and diagnostic frameworks, unit testing, hazard and failure-mode analysis, and system-level integration across the product lifecycle. Candidates need extensive embedded systems experience, strong C/C++ and real-time software skills, hardware bring-up experience, and knowledge of safety-critical design and communication protocols.
