Description
SPT Labtech is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Robotics for an office- and lab-based role at its Melbourn site near Cambridge. The engineer will develop embedded C++ firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers used in laboratory automation robots, including motor and actuator control, hardware integration over CAN and Ethernet and other interfaces, firmware architecture, sensor acquisition, reliability features, debugging, documentation, and technical mentoring. The role requires strong commercial embedded software experience, C/C++ and ARM microcontroller expertise, production motor-control experience, hardware integration, RTOS exposure, C# .NET knowledge, and software engineering practices including testing, CI, and Git.
