Description
The Embedded Software Engineer will architect, develop, integrate, and deploy foundational platform software for Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies vehicle controls boards. Responsibilities include bringing up drivers, operating systems, middleware, and application frameworks; developing embedded software for power management, vehicle reset, occupancy detection, diagnostics, and over-the-air updates; collaborating with hardware and cross-functional teams; and supporting hardware validation and production software. The role requires at least five years of embedded software or firmware development experience, strong C and real-time operating systems expertise, microcontroller development experience, and familiarity with automotive communication protocols.
