Energy Exemplar is seeking a Senior Energy Market Analyst to join their team in Pune/Bengaluru. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the development and maintenance of Global Power and Natural Gas Market models/datasets using PLEXOS/Aurora tools, leading and coordinating market research, model updates, result analysis, and model benchmarking. The role involves working with a team of energy data analysts on projects to deliver standalone and partial datasets using fundamental data alongside PLEXOS and Aurora power market models. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational skills in energy economics for power market fundamentals, expertise in Power Plant/Natural Gas Economics, Power Systems, Gas supply chain, Operation research/Optimization techniques, statistics, and Energy (Power & Gas) Markets/Industry, and experience with energy market modeling.
