The Weather Company is hiring a Senior Engineer on a time-and-materials contract to design and build next-generation AI platforms and tools. The role covers full-stack web and desktop applications, backend automation and APIs, event-driven architectures, AWS and Cloudflare infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and data persistence and caching. Required technologies include Node.js, TypeScript, Python, React, Next.js, Redis, PostgreSQL, and GitHub Actions, with experience in desktop frameworks, message queues, event buses, and AI-integrated applications preferred.
