OCBC is hiring an API & Middleware Engineer to lead the design, development, governance, and operation of enterprise APIs, microservices, middleware integrations, and payment services across on-premises and AWS environments. The role provides technical leadership, partners with business and architecture stakeholders, oversees payment processing integrations, applies API security and governance standards, and drives reliability, observability, DevSecOps, continuous improvement, and AI-assisted engineering. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years of software engineering experience, at least 5 years in payments, strong Java/Spring/WSO2 expertise, cloud and containerization experience, messaging and payment standards knowledge, and experience leading engineers.
