Samsung Semiconductor is hiring a Senior CPU Architecture & Performance Engineer to research and develop next-generation RISC-V CPU microarchitectures for data center and agentic AI workloads. The role covers workload and performance analysis, architectural modeling, microarchitectural innovation, performance bottlenecks, RTL implementation, and silicon validation, with significant ownership of architectural ideas and research outputs. It requires a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field, at least three years of experience or a PhD, and at least one year of CPU microarchitecture or performance engineering experience. The position is daily onsite in San Jose and offers a base pay range of $138,000 to $206,000 USD.
