Description
The Senior Engineer - Test & Finishing Equipment supports manufacturing operations by coordinating with engineers and technicians to resolve equipment and process problems, provide technical support during major equipment downtime, and perform spare-parts repairs and workarounds. The role also establishes and qualifies new equipment, implements upgrades, manages improvement and cost-reduction programs, trains operators and engineers, and coordinates with internal customers, suppliers, and vendors. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, ECE, or computer engineering, at least seven years of manufacturing experience including five years in equipment engineering, and expertise in assembly equipment such as wirebonding, diebonding, dispensing, trimming and forming, and SMT.
