Description
GLAD Manufacturing Company, a Clorox brand company, is hiring a Senior Engineer for its onsite Amherst, Virginia plant. The hands-on plant engineer will provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance, lead capital and commercialization projects from feasibility through commissioning and vertical start-up, improve equipment and systems efficiency, and drive cost savings and continuous improvement. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least three years of manufacturing or plant-engineering experience, capital-project management expertise, proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor, and strong technical, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
