Description

Western Digital is hiring an Early Career Talent (ECT) Data Analytics / Computer Science professional for its Head Backend Business Unit under the BEST Program. The role focuses on predictive modeling, process yield and defect analysis, scalable data pipelines, anomaly detection, and automation of data workflows within slider processing and HGA assembly engineering. The ECT will partner with manufacturing and process engineers, contribute to data infrastructure and intelligence projects affecting yield, quality, and operational efficiency, and present technical findings to engineering leadership. The position welcomes fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of post-graduate experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering with advanced analytics/AI specialization, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: Fresh graduate or maximum 2 years post-graduate experience
Experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, or advanced statistical analysis
