Oracle is hiring a Senior Member of Technical Staff to help build Lightweight Infrastructure (LWI), the next-generation runtime and platform layer for compute, storage, networking, identity, observability, and governance. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, resilient, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed-systems components; performing load and performance testing; implementing replication and synchronization; troubleshooting and responding to incidents; and maintaining automation and infrastructure-as-code practices. Candidates need a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, 3–5+ years of software engineering experience, and strong systems or backend programming skills. The role offers a US hiring range of $79,200 to $209,500 per annum, with possible bonus and equity, and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and other benefits.
