The role combines technical support and reliability engineering with payment operations, including troubleshooting distributed microservices, automating support workflows, monitoring observability, leading high-severity issue resolution, analyzing transaction and provider performance, contributing to routing and reconciliation decisions, and mentoring other engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and at least five years of experience in application support, DevOps, site reliability, or payment/technical operations.
