Wingstop is hiring a Senior Engineer - Data to strengthen its enterprise data foundation for analytics and AI. The role designs and operates scalable batch and streaming pipelines, develops dimensional and analytical models, leads architecture across ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving, establishes engineering standards, improves data quality and observability, integrates data from multiple business systems, optimizes platform performance and cost, partners with Applied AI and data science, and mentors data engineers. The position is based at the Global Support Center in Dallas, Texas, and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least seven years of production data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with cloud data platforms, dbt, orchestration tools, and data quality and observability.
