PayPal is hiring a Venmo Data Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, operate, and automate scalable data pipelines, message-streaming solutions, and data infrastructure for Venmo. The role partners with development, platform, product, engineering, and analytics teams; works with AWS, Apache Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Terraform, Python, Java, and related big-data technologies; and troubleshoots large-scale performance and reliability issues. The position is based in San Jose or Austin, offers a hybrid work model, and provides healthcare coverage.
