Description
Georgia Power Company is hiring an Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle support of utility-owned Distributed Energy Resource (DER) field gateway solutions across Georgia. The role performs hands-on field deployment, hardware and communications configuration, DERMS and OT platform integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with contractors, vendors, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and operations teams. It is based in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule, requires frequent travel to DER sites, and involves outdoor work, rough terrain, and lifting equipment.
