Compass is hiring a Senior Engineer in Developer Intelligence to build and operate systems that improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on engineering telemetry, observability instrumentation, software catalogs, CI/CD and source-control data, AI-assisted code review and incident triaging, automated workflows, and developer tooling. Candidates need a computer science or software engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of professional software development experience, Go proficiency, and experience with data pipelines, observability infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI or automated orchestration tools. The position offers a base salary of $149,000-$166,000 plus potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.
