Description
Avantus is hiring a Senior Engineer, Development Engineering to lead technical development of utility-scale solar project site constraints across early to late-stage projects. The role involves owning CAD constraints, managing engineering studies with consultants, supporting siting decisions, coordinating with development/permitting/land teams, and assisting with EPC design and value engineering. The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree, preferably civil engineering, at least 4+ years of utility-scale solar engineering experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD; PVCase/PVFarm knowledge is preferred. The role is hybrid, based in California, with a base salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 plus bonus and benefits.
