Description
Eversource is hiring one Wireless SCADA Telecommunications Engineer to plan, coordinate, design, implement, operate, troubleshoot, and support wireless data communications systems for distribution automation and SCADA applications. The role covers digital microwave, mobile and fixed wireless networks, paging systems, RTU interfaces, data analysis, and compliance with IEEE, IEC, and NERC standards. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or telecommunications engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, with utility and DNP 3.0 experience preferred. The position is regular, offers a hybrid schedule requiring at least three office days, requires travel throughout the service territory, and includes emergency storm response.
