GlobalFoundries is hiring a Senior Engineer in Failure Analysis to analyze wafer and package samples using advanced material characterization tools such as Auger, XPS, SIMS, 4PB, nano-indentation, and XRD. The role involves interpreting data, documenting root causes, maintaining failure analysis procedures, supporting Fab Operations and technology development, developing new techniques, and maintaining laboratory safety and equipment standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science, at least five years of relevant experience, and experience with SIMS, Auger, XPS, and other failure analysis techniques.
