Description
The Component Engineer will support the selection, qualification, lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and substitution of electronic components used in Tejas Networks’ products. Responsibilities include component research, test-setup development, obsolescence and supply-continuity planning, regulatory compliance, manufacturer and distributor coordination, and administration of ECR, ECN, and EOL processes. The role requires an Electronics Engineering degree or relevant engineering diploma and 3–5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or R&D, with knowledge of component selection, testing, RoHS, REACH, CMRT, schematics, PCB tools, and approval processes.
