Description
ASM is hiring a Senior Engineer, Field Process to support advanced semiconductor film technologies at a customer site in Oregon, then relocate to Austin, Texas to help start a new fab. The role covers new product introduction, process and hardware transfer, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, experiments, documentation, customer collaboration, and support for high-volume manufacturing. Candidates need an MS degree plus four years of experience or a PhD with no prior experience in materials science, chemical engineering, or physics, along with thin-film processing, semiconductor equipment, and structured problem-solving experience. The position requires on-site work at customer locations, including 18–24 months of training in Hillsboro, Oregon, and travel as needed.
