Description

Renew Home is hiring a full-time Full Stack Software Engineer for its user Lifecycle & Engagement team to build and support consumer-facing energy-saving automation features. The role owns critical product flows, develops frontend and backend functionality, and works with product, analytics, and engineering teams using technologies including TypeScript/React, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Redis, and Git. The position is fully remote, offers a base salary of $160,000–$200,000 plus a 10% target annual bonus and long-term incentives, and requires U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or demonstrated software industry experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of industry experience building full-stack software services
Experience building scalable features using APIs, REST frameworks, component libraries, and UI design systems
Strong UI development experience with React or another modern UI framework
Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience
Strong software engineering background with proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Remix and React Router
Experience with scalable distributed data processing
Experience with AWS Lambda, cloud functions, pub/sub, and Prefect
Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
Experience in the electric power industry
Experience working with external partners
