Description
The role performs detailed or routine highway design and engineering assignments, including calculations, simple tests, data correlation, problem-solving, discrepancy identification, and independent completion of primary design elements. It also provides guidance to entry-level engineers and works with little supervision. The position requires a Master of Engineering degree, 5–9 years of highway, roadway, or motorway design experience, and proficiency with ORD/Open Roads Design and Civil 3D, along with experience in highway rehabilitation, land development, traffic management, junctions, road signs and markings, BIM, and CDE.
