Description
ASM is hiring a Senior Engineer I or Engineer II in Equipment Engineering to support the development, installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and stable operation of advanced R&D equipment for new semiconductor product development. The role collaborates with hardware, electrical, process, software, R&D, and facilities teams; supports first builds and testing; performs root-cause analysis; documents maintenance procedures; and contributes to equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline, 5–8+ years of relevant semiconductor equipment experience, hands-on equipment maintenance or troubleshooting experience, and bilingual English and Japanese communication skills.
