ASM is hiring a Senior Engineer II, Mechanical Engineering to design and develop high-precision mechanical systems for advanced-node Atomic Layer Deposition semiconductor equipment. The role covers structural, thermal, and fluid-dynamics analysis; Creo-based 3D CAD and 2D drawing; product safety and feasibility evaluation; prototype-to-high-volume manufacturing transition; testing, supplier and manufacturing coordination, and engineering change management. Candidates need a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, several years of semiconductor or capital-equipment mechanical design experience, and proficiency with mechanical systems, simulation, CAD, and engineering documentation.
