Description
ASM is recruiting a Process Engineer for its Global Key Product Unit in Tama, Tokyo, Japan. The role is part of the PEALD and PECVD Process Development team and focuses on developing new semiconductor fabrication processes, designing and analyzing experiments, characterizing hardware, defining process windows, troubleshooting complex issues, performing root-cause analysis, and communicating with customers and internal teams. A PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics is preferred, along with knowledge of plasma physics, material chemistry, and vacuum chamber handling; English business-level proficiency is also required.
