Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an embedded software/firmware engineer for its NCS group in Chennai. The role is an individual contributor responsible for developing and sustaining PCIe-based firmware and software, including design specifications, implementation, testing, debugging, and release of deliverables. The engineer will work across pre- and post-silicon stages, support multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires a B.Tech in ECE, CSE, or EEE, strong C programming, embedded firmware and RTOS experience, and familiarity with PCIe, NVMe, and related protocols; experience with automotive, industrial, or cybersecurity standards is also desired.
