Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an Applications Engineer for its Networking Communication Group to support PCIe and USB products. The role reviews schematics and block diagrams, provides driver debugging and development guidance, answers customer and field-sales questions, creates application notes and other enablement materials, identifies gaps in enablement content, and creates requirements for new product development. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 7.5 years of relevant experience, along with knowledge of programming, Linux, embedded systems, PCIe and USB signaling, and driver development. The role may be performed in the United States, requires 0–25% travel, and offers an annual base salary of $70,304–$205,000 plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonuses.
