Tyndall National Institute is hiring a Senior Engineer II – Photonic Packaging and Process Development to lead advanced photonic packaging, cryogenic packaging, micro-optic integration, and process development for next-generation photonic and electronic systems. The role manages technical projects, develops scalable and automated packaging capabilities, contributes to large-scale proposals and partnerships, and mentors engineers, researchers, and students. It is a full-time fixed-term appointment of approximately two years, with a stated annual salary of €72,044–€91,259 and a closing date of 9 October 2026.
