Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an embedded software/firmware engineer for its NCS group in Chennai. The role develops firmware and software for PCIe products, including bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware, device drivers, protocol stacks, test tools, and software deliverables across pre- and post-silicon stages. The engineer will participate in feasibility studies, reviews, debugging, and cross-functional project work, while working independently with technical leadership. The position requires a B.Tech in ECE, CSE, or EEE, strong C programming, embedded firmware development experience, and familiarity with PCIe, RTOS, microcontrollers, and related testing and safety standards.
