Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an SDET Engineer for its NCS software solutions team to develop and maintain automated test suites for embedded firmware and drivers, especially USB products. The role involves white-box testing, test strategy and coverage planning, functional, integration, regression, performance, negative, fault-injection, security, and vulnerability testing, as well as CI/CD integration. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE, CSE, or EEE, strong C, C++, and Python skills, microcontroller and peripheral-interface experience, and 8–12 years of experience. The position may require 0–25% travel.
