Description
NETGEAR is hiring a Senior Switching Software Engineer to lead innovation and development of managed switching solutions for small and medium enterprise markets. The role focuses on product-level switching architecture, zero-touch provisioning, cloud and hybrid-cloud integration, AI/ML-based network optimization, security automation, simplified network virtualization, SD-WAN and branch-office connectivity, and other SME-focused networking features. The engineer will also drive cost-performance optimization, technical competitive analysis, patentable innovations, industry standards, and technical thought leadership. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 10 to 12 years of embedded switching software development experience, and 5+ years developing SME networking products or similar market-focused solutions.
