Description

Arm is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain tools and flows for generating physical views of embedded memories using a compiler approach. The role involves creating GDSII, LEF, NDM, and CDL views, testing internal tools and EDA-generated views, and automating development, validation, and release workflows with scripting, software engineering, and AI/LLM techniques. The position requires C/C++, Java, Python, shell programming, software engineering practices, digital circuit design fundamentals, and at least five years of relevant industry experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with circuit and layout design and formats such as CDL, GDSII, LEF, and Cadence DB
Experience with memory compilers, tiling, and netlist stitching
Knowledge of EDA flows including Cadence DB, SKILL, place and route, LVS, DRC, and extraction
Experience collaborating with teams across multiple geographical locations and time zones
