Lucid is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Motion Planning, Parking to support its auto-parking and low-speed autonomy stack. The role focuses on trajectory optimization, path smoothing, local planning, system architecture, performance optimization, debugging, validation, and production integration for features such as Auto Park, Summon, and Park-to-Park. It is based in Southfield, Michigan, with employees required to be onsite five days per week. Candidates need an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least two years of software development experience in autonomous driving, ADAS, or robotics, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with embedded software integration and production-grade systems.
