Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Engineer – NVH/Acoustics in Barrow-in-Furness for its Maritime Sector. The role is focused on submarine stealth engineering, including noise and vibration measurements and analysis across the lifecycle from prototype testing and factory acceptance testing through in-build and in-service support. The engineer will work with stakeholders to influence design decisions, perform diagnostics and condition-based monitoring, support programme delivery, and mentor junior engineers. The role is full-time and on-site, requires a STEM degree plus proven multi-year experience in noise and vibration measurement/analysis/reporting, and proficiency with acquisition software such as Siemens LMS or HBK Connect.
