DTEX is hiring a Senior Engineer – OpenSearch to lead the development and optimization of large-scale OpenSearch clusters for its Insider Risk Management and Data Loss Prevention products. The role involves consulting and mentoring search practitioners, contributing to open-source communities, designing features and bug fixes, managing terabyte-scale clusters, and applying cloud and JVM expertise. Candidates need at least 10 years of software engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, deep OpenSearch expertise, Python proficiency, and experience with distributed applications and major cloud platforms. The position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement and a base salary range of $170,000–$220,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
