Description
Arcadis is seeking a senior transmission-line design engineer to lead the design and technical delivery of 400kV and above overhead transmission lines and related facilities. The role includes structural analysis, conductor sag and tension calculations, design documentation, quality control, project coordination, client liaison, budget and schedule management, and technical leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need at least seven years of overhead line design experience, preferably in consulting, a relevant engineering degree, exposure to UK, European, and Australian design standards, strong communication and mathematical skills, and experience with transmission-line design software.
